Flash Overlay Public Beta There are 3 things that make Flash perfect for overlay over a video stream. First, the vector-based format can be scaled to HD resolutions without quality loss. Second, Flash has built-in alpha, that allows us to use high quality transparency effects. Lastly, Flash can be used to display dynamic content such as news, weather or read more.. Flash Filter Looking Good The new Flash Source filter is gradually moving forward, and is now in version 2.0.0.3. Given the customer feedback so far, the two major problems that we had in the first version (1.0.*.*) - performance and transparency - appear to be fixed. Playout Studio Adds Streaming Support MediaLooks Playout Studio was upgraded to version 1.1.0.4 and now supports streaming to Windows Media Services. We have also integrated the latest version of the Text & Graphics Overlay filter in this release.

New Audio Mixer Release A new, completely rewritten version of the Audio Mixer filter is now available for download.
MediaLooks MPEG-2 Transport Stream Splitter Released We have released our MPEG-2 TS Splitter - a DirectShow filter for demultiplexing a transport stream, read either from file, or received via UDP.
MediaLooks DV Decoder Released Our DV Decoder is now out of beta. The DirectShow filter supports anything from DV to DVCPRO HD and is capable of using up to 8 CPUs for decoding.
The decoder will be part of the upcoming DV/DVCPRO HD SDK, featuring a DV Splitter, an MXF Demultiplexer and a DV Encoder.
